Celebrating Hanover’s Heritage at the Hanover Dutch Festival

If you like food, music, crafts and cars, the Hanover Dutch Festival is a must for you! This year, the festival will celebrate its 35th anniversary on July 28 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Every year, thousands of locals and visitors attend the festival held in Center Square in Downtown Hanover. Over 150 craft vendors bring their handmade wares to the streets of Hanover. Patrons walk the streets of downtown, browsing crafts and creations while enjoying delicious food and traditional Pennsylvania Dutch music. Looking for more? The Dutch Festival also features an antique car show in the St. Matthew’s parking lot on N. Franklin Street.

The festival was created to highlight Hanover’s strong Pennsylvania Dutch roots. Pennsylvania Dutch characteristics of hard work and craftmanship are still an integral part of the community and are reflected in the large number of manufacturers that call the Hanover area home.
