The Veteran Job Vault was launched in May 2015 with the support of local legislators, leaders in manufacturing, and veteran affairs organizations.  Since that time, the program has been successful in matching local veterans with careers in manufacturing, and continues to be a valuable resource for area manufacturers.

“This program addresses something we see all the time. When we meet with employers, the number one thing we hear is that they have great, well-paid positions available and cannot find the adequate skills to fill them.  This program will connect veterans with the right skills and attitudes to those positions.”  – Bob Reilly, Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Congressman Scott Perry.

“This program stands to bridge the gaps between veterans returning to civilian life and local businesses seeking dependable, hard-working and talented individuals.”  – Phillip Palandro, Director of York County Veterans Affairs

“Veterans provide teamwork, attention to detail, communication skills and leadership.  They are agile learners with the ability to think critically and solve problems; all of these qualities gained while serving in real world situations.  This veteran job vault will be the connection and provide a win-win scenario that will benefit all involved.”  – Kevin Gulden, Utz Quality Foods
