Meet Moriah Tyler - Main Street Hanover's New Executive Director
Main Street Hanover is excited to welcome their new Executive Director, Moriah Tyler.
Moriah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Mount St. Mary’s University, where she developed a strong foundation in arts management and creative problem solving. Her academic background laid the groundwork for her successful career in non-profit administration.
Prior to being hired by Main Street Hanover, Moriah served as the Education & Visual Arts Coordinator at the Carroll County Arts Council in Westminster, Maryland, where she was responsible for event planning, curation, and community engagement.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Moriah enjoys hiking, creating artwork, and gardening. Additionally, she serves as a volunteer on the Pippinfest committee for Fairfield, Pennsylvania. She is passionate about facilitating events in a local community and is eager to be a resource for Hanover businesses and natives.
Daniel Frey, Esq., Main Street Hanover Chairperson, said the following regarding Moriah’s hiring: “Main Street is pleased that Moriah has accepted the position of Executive Director. Through the interviewing process, our executive committee was convinced that Moriah’s skills and experience with the Carroll County Arts Council where she was the Education and Visual Arts Coordinator will advance Main Street’s mission and goal to preserve and promote the historic and economic vitality of downtown Hanover.”
Moriah will begin her time with Main Street Hanover in early June. We are excited to welcome her to our team and look forward to her contributions and accomplishments.
