The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce delivers value to its members and advances the interests of the business community.

 The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce is a business membership organization serving the Greater Hanover Area. Furthermore, The Hanover Chamber carries a 5-star Accreditation and is one of only three Chambers in Pennsylvania to be recognized as such and only two percent of chambers nationwide receive this prestigious honor).

 While that sounds impressive, what does the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce actually deliver to its members

 Member Events and Exclusive Sponsorship Opportunities

 Members of the Hanover Chamber have the opportunity to attend Chamber facilitated events such as Membership Mixers, Legislative Roundtables, Lunch & Learns, the Chamber Golf Outing, the Annual Business Awards and more. Some of these events are member-exclusive while others are discounted or complimentary to members. These events are geared towards networking, team bonding, professional education, and business recognition, among other benefits.

 Moreover, we have a wide array of sponsorship opportunities exclusive to members. Many of these sponsorships pertain to our events. From the Legislative Roundtables to our Golf Outing to our Snack Town Street Fair (which draws a crowd of 13,000+), there are ample ways to get your organization recognized throughout the community.

 Marketing Opportunities

 Differing from event sponsorship opportunities, the Hanover Chamber has various means of advertising your organization to our members and to the community. Our marketing availability ranges from advertisements in our monthly Chamber Connections newsletter (which receive print and digital versions), to our Discover Hanover tourism brand via our annual publication and the website, to our weekly e-mails and standalone member eBlasts.

 Additionally, we provide statistics and insights, upon request, so your organization is able to measure performance with the Chamber. And, depending on membership level, we are able to build customized marketing packages to get the most of out your membership dollars.

 Member Benefits in Partnership with Other Organizations

 As a member, your organization has the opportunity to participate in a series of benefits. These benefits are the result of partnerships between the Chamber and other organizations wishing to extend their services to our network of members.

 For example, Penn National Insurance has partnered with the Hanover Chamber for the last eighteen years to provide dividends for those enrolled in their MAP program. By purchasing their business insurance through Penn National Insurance, our program members tell us that the dividend often pays for their membership – and then some.

 Business Advocacy and Legislative Involvement

 The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce is a champion for its members and for the community at large. The Chambers works closely with state and local legislative officials and advocates on behalf of businesses in the Great Hanover Area for the betterment of the local economy.

 A recent example of this is the Hanover Chamber’s involvement with Hanover Auto Team’s Tech Pathways. After 19 months of collaboration between the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, Hanover Auto Team, and the Pennsylvania Apprenticeship Training Office, Pennsylvania now has its first Automative Technician Apprenticeship Training Program. This is largely the result of dedication towards expanding Pennsylvania’s registered apprenticeship program by Hanover Auto Team and the Hanover Chamber, as well as involvement from our state-levels elected officials who recognized our efforts.
