How to Prepare for the 2019 Snack Town Brewfest: Six Quick Tips
Snack Town Brewfest is less than three months away! Sponsored by Utz Quality Foods and Snyder’s of Hanover, Snack Town Brewfest is a summer day full of cold beer, salty snacks, and great entertainment. Maybe this is your first year attending, or maybe you’re still on the fence about whether to go. To make sure you have the best experience at our festival, follow these tips.
1. Buy VIP.
VIP tickets cost a few extra bucks, but they’re so worth it! Not only will you get an extra hour in the festival, you’ll also get access to exclusive drinks and swag (thanks, KLK Welding!) available during this hour only. Convinced that VIP is for you? Tickets are limited, so get yours now before they sell out.
PLEASE NOTE: Only VIP and DD ticketholders can enter the festival at 12:00 p.m. General Admission ticketholders can enter at 1:00 p.m.
2. Be prepared.
Our festival runs rain or shine—which means we don’t give refunds. In the event of rain, we will still have plenty of food trucks, yard games, and of course, beer to keep you occupied! If you can’t keep your ticket, feel free to give it to a friend or family member—just make sure to change the name on the ticket. Also, please keep in mind that we don’t allow anyone under 21, outside food, pets, or smoking at our festival.
3. Plan your stops.
There will be over 80 beers at the 2019 Snack Town Brewfest—while some may be tempted to try them all, we recommend picking your favorites ahead of time. A full list of beers at this year’s festival are listed here. Keep consulting this list for updates as we get closer to the festival.
4. Get to know this year’s entertainment.
We’re super stoked to have the Amish Outlaws as our live entertainment this year! There is no "typical" Amish Outlaws show, but the average crowd can expect to see men in full Amish garb releasing all of their pent-up energy with an infectious joy. With a set that is always evolving, the Amish Outlaws constantly surprise their audience and keep them guessing as to what they could possibly play next; from Johnny Cash to Jay Z, Lady Gaga to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Pitbull to Elvis Presley, Luke Bryan to Dropkick Murphys, to theme songs from TV shows. We love the Amish Outlaws, and we know you will too!
5. Be responsible.
We encourage our attendees to have fun, but within reason. All attendees are responsible for their own consumption. If you’ve had your fill, please take a break from drinking and enjoy our yard games, food trucks, and live entertainment. Any attendee who appears intoxicated will be cut off and asked to leave the festival.
On the same note, please don’t drink and drive. Have a designated driver (DD tickets are available for those not drinking alcohol) or use a local ridesharing service and get dropped off/picked up at our designated area at 50 N. Forney Avenue.
6. Invite your friends.
No one wants to drink alone! Invite your friends to the festival by sharing, tagging, and commenting on our Facebook and Instagram posts.
