Fall Events Cancelled

As of today, July 22, 2020, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the previously postponed Snack Town Brewfest and Hanover Dutch Festival events scheduled for September 19, 2020 and September 26, 2020. This is the first time our organization has cancelled either event, which is quite amazing considering the Hanover Dutch Festival is celebrating its 37th anniversary this year.

While many of you rely on these events for fun with your family and friends, we rely on them for revenue for our community initiatives. Cancelling these events will be a major hit to our organization's budget. We are heartbroken about the circumstances surrounding this decision.

We made this decision for the safety of the community, our vendors, our staff, and our volunteers. Navigating the current COVID-19 situation and the uncertainty of Pennsylvania’s Department of Health guidelines has proved to be quite challenging, and we simply cannot plan for events this large while adhering to current restrictions.

For now, our plan is to start fresh in 2021. We will use this extra time to revamp our events, specifically the Hanover Dutch Festival. This event has long needed some TLC, and we are thrilled to be working on a new look and exciting new changes for 2021.

Until then, please consider patronizing our local brewers and other businesses--they need your support now more than ever.
